It's not everyday a great Fender Custom Shop instrument leaves Truetone Music, that we immediately miss immensely, only to return years later. But it's our luck and yours that we have once again this incredible guitar. Here's this Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster in a stunning 3-Tone Sunburst Sparkle finish. Not only is a looker, but it's a player too - super comfortable with a broken in feel, and of course sounding amazing.

This Tele features a 3-Tone Sunburst Sparkle nitro lacquer finish - you haven't seen one like this before. Created by fusing 3-Tone Sunburst on top of Gold Sparkle, this finish jumps in every direction. The Journeyman Relic treatment tames the "visual brightness" down a bit, giving it the appearance and vibe of a vintage guitar that has been cared for but played for years.

It's not just about the appearance though - what really matters is how this guitar plays and sounds. The Custom Shop nailed it on both aspects. The lightweight okume body makes it easy to keep this Tele strapped on for hours. The neck shape (mid-60's Oval "C") is a comfortable favorite for many players. Also, it's important to note the Heavy Relic back of the neck - this gives it a "worn in" feel that your hand will love. It also features a 9.5 - 12" compound radius fretboard, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead work as you go up the neck. The RSD Tele bridge is another tweak to the Postmodern Tele. It has a lower profile, and uses compensated brass saddles for improved intonation and sustain.

In terms of sound, this is a hot Tele - it has Handwound Texas Special pickups. They have a high output with a noticeable presence and midrange. The staggered pole pieces keep the output balanced, and the Alnico 5 magnets provide focus and enhanced dynamics. The bridge pickup will burn, and the neck pickup still gives you a warm, vintage Tele tone.

The guitar is in the same condition it was when it was a new guitar here, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The original case and Certificate of Authencity are included, as well as the Custom Shop strap (with strap locks installed).
