Pre-Owned 2007 Fender Joe Strummer Road Worn Telecaster Black With OHSC

For those who want revolution rock we have this incredible Fender Joe Strummer Telecaster! This is a recreation of the iconic instrument played the legendary Joe Strummer of The Clash - it's from the original run, and marked the introduction of Fender's Road Worn finish. This guitar embodies his punk-rock ethos and musical sensiblities blending different styles and his brilliant songwriting to create the band's sound and timeless songs. 

This Fender Joe Strummer Tele comes with a resonant alder body that features the same wear and tear that his original instrument had. It even has the Black over Sunburst treatment just like Joe's. This model is based on his '66 Telecaster and comes with a Road Worn laquer finish. The maple neck has a mid-'60s "C"-shape with a 7.25" vintage radius with a rosewood fingerboard for fret hand warmth. The neck also features some wear to give it a broken-in feel just like the original. 

This particular one has been modified to give you even more tonal options. It has the Custom Joe Strummer single-coil Tele pickup in the neck but a player upgrade of Seymour Duncan STHR 1B Hot Rail in the bridge (and it comes with original bridge pickup in the case). Now you've got a wide range of sounds to choose from with the neck pickup giving the chime for percussive rhythm playing and powerful humbucking tones that cut from the bridge pickup. The simple 3-way selector switch, Master Volume, and Master Tone control make it easy to dial in your sounds. 

This tribute instrument gives you plenty of great hardware like its vintage-style 6-saddle Tele bridge, 3-ply parchment pickguard, chrome controls knobs, and custom neck plate. They all feature a road worn finish to give you the aged look and feel of the original. 

Don't take too long to decide if you should stay or go, cause this guitar won't be here for for too long. It's in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to rock the casbah.
