This Tele is based on Muddy's and features a classic '57-style slab ash body that is resonant and snappy with its repainted Candy apple red finish. It's matched with aCustom Telecaster neck from 1961 just like the one Muddy replaced his with. Not only do you get the slimmer comfy '60s profile but you also get a rosewood fingerboard for bit of warmth to the snap of the neck and body. The 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets are perfect for slide playing and big bends. The white pearloid pickguard really adds a styish touch.
A pair of American Vintage '52 Tele pickups bring you the authentic twang, bite, and chime of those legendary single-coil pickups that defined the electric blues sound Muddy is known for. Control your tones with ease and precision with Muddy's amp style knob replacements to the standard chrome knobs.
The hardware on this signature Muddy Waters Tele is top tier with th classic ashtray bridge with three brass saddles for that authentic Tele bite with sustain.
