This iconic electric guitar was built with a hollow Masonite body and lightweight plywood frame, which provides its signature bright, jangly tone that defined rockabilly, surf, and blues music of the era, but can used for any style of playing. The body is contoured for comfort and style but also It is paired with a comfy slim 23.5" scale maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Speaking of rosewood this vintage piece comes with the classic rosewood bridge too!
With its pair of single-coil lipstick-tube pickups you get a great array of tones. Lipstick pickups have the glassy tones in spades but also has a distinct mid-range that's a bit throatier than standard single-coils. This pairs well with any setup but especially sweet for those vintage tones aficionados. Find your favorite sounds with ease with its stacked concentric volume and tone controls with 3-way pickup selector.
This guitar is in great condition, especially considering it's age, and comes with its original hardshell case. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. It's a great vintage find!
