The Divide (÷), the latest in Martin's trilogy of Ed Sheeran signature acoustic guitars, is packed with even more of Ed's chartbusting tone and stylized looks. Back are the familiar spruce-topped LX1E Little Martin scale and full, punchy voice. But new for the Ed Sheeran Divide acoustic are a warm and weatherproof HPL laminated mahogany body, a cool black-and-blue color palette with matching rosette and "÷" adornments, and upgraded Fishman Sonitone electronics for an even more lifelike representation of the instrument while plugged into a PA. Martin's X bracing gives the Ed Sheeran Divide acoustic a fuller, woodier low end, which makes this guitar a ton of fun for working out ideas at home and the perfect complement to full-band pop productions.
