Vintage 1967 Fender Princeton Reverb Guitar Amp Combo

If you're looking for an vintage amp from Fender's golden age may we present to you this fantastic Fender Princeton Reverb from 1967! That's right from the year of the Summer of Love comes this all-tube classic that has been played by countless musicians, on countless stages and recordings. In fact this era of amp is so highly regarded that is has been reissued several times by Fender themselves. These amps have been highly favored for their tones and size. It's a more compact amp than the Deluxe with a 10" speaker and smaller chasis.

 

The Fender Princeton Reverb is a 6V6 15-watt amp combo that delivers sweet, sparkly clean tones that are dynamic and responsive to your guitar's natural tone. You can crank it up to get a little grit but these Black panel era amps are less dirty than tweed era predecessors and later models with gain controls. It's really all about its clean tones. However it should be noted as it has great clean tones, it take overdrive, distortion, and fuzz pedals really well.

 

You get two inputs, Bass, Treble controls, Reverb control, and of course Vibrato controls with Speed and Intensity knobs. Yes this incredible amp with lush reverb and vibrato. These amp produces iconic tones. It pumps out wonderful tones from its original 10" Jensen speaker. 

  

Now it does come from the '60s so it has had some modifications and replacements. It has a new power transformer, a grounded AC cord, and a bias section modified for the replaced power transformer.  All else is original.  The amp is in good shape but of course keep in mind that it's nearly 50 years old, was played plenty on gigs and has the normal were associated with that.  The amp was recently vetted and serviced by legendary L.A. area amp guru Greg Leon, so it's ready to go.
