Vintage 1949 Martin 0-15 with Hardshell Case

As you can see in the photos, this 0-15 was played and loved, but this one is still in great condition considering it's from the first half of last century! Of course there is finish checking scratches, dings, etc. - all of what you'd expect of guitar of this age. It has not had a neck reset or any modifications - it's all original. The guitar came to us in a random (non-original) case, which we pulled and replaced with a brand new Martin 5-ply case to fully protect it.
These are probably the most overlooked and underrated vintage Martins out there. Don’t let the size fool you, this thing has a huge and powerful sound. Solid mahogany top, back, sides, neck, and a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard - that's an all-time classic. The all Mahogany Martin 15 series dates back to 1939. The 0-15 is a concert sized guitar with a simple set of features: a tortoiseshell pickguard, unbound fingerboard, dot inlays, and rectangular bridge It was made for a few years, until 1943, and then came back in 1948 before being discontinued by 1961. This one was made in 1949, which is a great era for an 0-15.
This guitar is a little piece of history, perfect for any Martin lover or just anyone looking for a small body acoustic that sounds big. It has withstood the test of time - now it's time to find it's new home. Come to Truetone Music in Santa Monica to try it out, or order right here to be shipped to your home.
