Used Schecter Michael Anthony Signature Bass Carbon Grey with Case Van Halen

Best known for his comprehensive and influential work with Van Halen, Michael Anthony  has rocked the bass for nearly fifty years, showcasing his skill, sound, and style in venues of all sizes across the globe. Modified from Schecter's well-known Model T line to better suit Anthony's preferences, the Michael Anthony Bass has a solid alder body, finished in a sleek Carbon Grey finish.  It has a slightly slimmer maple/walnut multi-ply neck, which combined with the flat 12" radius on the rosewood fretboard, allows for fast action up and down the instrument. 

The pickups in this bass are powerful, supplying superior low end thump with plenty of note definition.  The bridge pickup on this bass was replaced; it's stead of the standard style jazz pickup, it has a different single coil put in there, which we found to be great sounding.  It has a nice punch to it and helps to cut through the mix.  The PJ configuration and combination of a volume, tone and 3-way switch provide great versatility.  Yeah, you can play Runnin' with the Devil on it, and it will sound great, but you could also do much, much more!
