Pre Owned Partscaster Stratocaster MIJ Body Fender Highway One Maple Neck
When you have chosen great parts it definitely leads to a great guitar and here is a prime example of an excellent Strat-style parts guitar! This guitar brings you a choice body, neck, and pickups for a unique Strat with quality specs, especially if you're a fan of '70s Strats!
This instrument comes with a resonant Made In Japan alder Strat body with the classic contours but with a distinct Blonde finish - you don't see that often on a Strat. You get a great playing Fender Highway One maple neck with 21 medium-jumbo frets with the large headstock for more mass for sustain and it is of the 3-bolt design. The large headstock comes with '70s-style logo. From our recollection, the Highway One necks had a satin finish, which this one does not - so we're thinking it was refinished. The end result is a guitar feels a bit more vintage, and plays quite nice, especially after being setup by the techs in our shop.
You get great Strat tones with its set of pickups. This guitar was loaded with Fender X-1 pickups, something you don't see often. Known for their iconic, bell-like tone, these pickups are a superb choice for musicians seeking clarity and dynamic response. Engineered with precision, the X1 pickups feature an overwound design that delivers a powerful, full-bodied tone without sacrificing the classic single-coil sparkle.
