Here is this Gretsch G6119T-ET Player's Edition Tennessee Rose Electrotone, an amazing hollow-body inspired by the one of the greatest hollow-body guitars ever made. The Tennessee Rose made famous by such guitar greats as Chet Atkins and George Harrison, and has become an iconic model for a legendary brand.
This guitar is packed with a set of FT-67 Filter’Tron humbucking pickups that give you the best of vintage and modern tones, with its top-end chime, glassy midrange, robust low end and balanced harmonics.
The comfortable 2”-deep maple body features parallel bracing for rich hollow body sound. The Electrotone-body design, originating from the 1960s, has shallow depth, simulated f-holes, and a sealed top for excellent feedback control and deep low-end sound. A versatile control setup includes separate bridge and neck volume controls, three-way pickup toggle switching, a no-load master tone, and master volume, allowing for unlimited tonal possibilities. The vintage "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitor adds smooth tone, while the new treble bleed circuit ensures your guitar maintains clear, crisp notes when adjusting the volume. The 24.6”-scale maple neck with a standard "U"-shaped profile and 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets make playing effortless and comfortable, while the Luminlay® side dots provide precise fretting even in low-light settings. The Bigsby B6CP vibrato adds expression, tone, and tuning stability.
This is an incredible instrument in excellent condition, as it was never previously owned, only utilized in demos, so it comes with its original hardshell case with everything else in it. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly, so it's ready to go!
