This Penguin featuries a solid spruce top with maple back and sides. Its mahogany neck, comes with a 12”-radius laurel fingerboard that boasts 20 vintage-style frets adorned with pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, while the synthetic bone nut ensures smooth playability.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys III pickup/preamp system featuring a built-in tuner, this guitar offers excellent amplified performance. Additional highlights include a laurel bridge, deluxe die-cast tuning machines, and striking gold hardware—including a gold pickguard, gold sparkle neck and body binding, and the signature gold sparkle vertical wing Gretsch headstock logo.
This guitar is in excellent condition. It was new guitar here just a few weeks ago, sold and then returned, so other than some very slight finish scratches (so slight they can't be seen in the photos), it's basically brand new. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly. It's a great score!
