Get to the core of great tones with this Godin Core CT P90! This is a Canadian-made powerhouse that strikes the perfect balance between vintage growl and modern improvements.
The "CT" stands for its elegantly carved maple top, which sits atop a chambered Spanish Mahogany body. This unique construction gives you the airy resonance of a hollow-body instrument while maintaining the punch, sustain, and feedback resistance of a solid-body. Finished in a classic Sunburst, the body is light on the shoulder but heavy on harmonic richness. It is quite a versatile workhorse that features a mahogany set-neck with a comfortable 24.75" scale length that feels instantly familiar. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius and 22 polished frets. Experience the feel of effortless bends and complex chording. Whether you’re digging into blues licks or jazz changes, the neck profile is thick enough to feel vintage without ever being uncomfortable.
This Core CT is a beast thanks to a pair of Seymour Duncan P90 pickups, a SP90-1 in the neck and a SP90-3 in the bridge. Its traditional 3-way toggle and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup make it easy to dial-in your sounds with a tone palette ranges from articulate cleans to a raw, mid-heavy snarl.
This model has a high-performance Graphtech ResoMax wraparound bridge, which maximizes string vibration and enhances tuning stability alongside Godin’s own precision tuners. It’s a boutique-quality instrument that brings something new to the classic P90 formula.
This guitar is in excellent conditioin and comes with its original hardshell case. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly, and it's ready to go.
