Used Fender FSR American Hand-Stained Nitro Stratocaster Honey Burst with Case
Used Fender FSR American Hand-Stained Nitro Stratocaster Honey Burst with Case
With its striking hand-stained Honey Burst satin-lacquer finish, this FSR (Fender Special Run) American Hand-Stained Stratocaster is a distinctively refined take on a familiar favorite. Its elegant looks are complemented by the full sound of American Standard pickups, and fast playing Modern C neck shape, making it an especially captivating instrument.
Only 2500 (in various colors) were made for specific markets in 2012. The model was based on Fender's American Special platform, but with some nice upgrades. The main feature is the Hand Rubbed Stain/Satin Lacquer finish. Not only does it look great, it's very comfortable. The transparent Honey Blonde color shows the wood grain nicely. This isn't just about aesthetics - the guitar sounds great too, with classic Strat tone, and has the Greasebucket Tone Circuit (so you can roll off the highs without adding bass). It also has a very modern feel, with the thin neck shape, 9.5 radius and jumbo frets.
We just took this one in on trade and see it as a great value - it's an American-made Strat, with a nitro lacquer finish, and comes with a high quality molded case that has TSA locks. Plus, it's a Limited Edition model. Everything is original on it. The guitar is in very good condition as well. There is some wear, mainly on the horns (see photos), but nothing major. It has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. If you're in the market for a Strat with more bang for the buck than normal, you've found it!
