Used Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster NOS Red Sparkle with OHSC

 A Fender Custom Shop instrument is a special thing, and we get a lot of them here.  Sometimes one stands out as a real eye catcher with a stunning finish....and then it's even more impressive once played....and then blows us away once plugged in.  That's what have here with this previously owned 1963 Stratocaster.

Built in 2021, the Custom Shop nailed this one. Aesthetically, it's going to draw attention with the Red Sparkle finish.  There's no way to miss this one.....whether it's on stage or on the wall in the studio, it's a conversation starter.  We're glad it's an NOS, too - no reason to rough up that beautiful finish!

This Strat is lightweight, acoustically resonant, plays very smoothly, and sounds exactly like you'd want if you're into 60's Strats, thanks to the handwound 60/63 pickups.  They are wound to the exact specs from those formidable years that burned the Stratocaster into the history of music forever. You'll get the classic chime combined with the warmness of a 60's era Strat. The middle pickup is RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity) to reduce noise when in position 2 & 4. Thankfully, it's equipped with a modern 5-way selector switch.

It features a comfortable 60's Oval "C" neck shape - period correct, with a real vintage feel. This slim profile is the most popular choice for Custom Shop guitars, and there's a good reason for that! The 9.5” fingerboard radius combined with the 6150 (Medium Jumbo) frets add a modern touch and help to make this a player’s dream.
