Used 2020 Fender Player Stratocaster Black
We just took a sweet Strat at a nice price, with a unique look. It's a Fender Player Stratocaster, the quintessential modern workhorse for those on a budget, representing the highly successful evolution of Fender’s made in Mexico guitars. This one one stems from 2020. It's in a good shape with some normal player wear but nothing major, and has been given an aesthetic with a clear blue plexi pickguard.
Built with a solid Alder body and a sleek gloss polyester finish, the Player Series replaced the long-running Standard Series with several key upgrades. The most notable improvement is the two-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles, which offers smoother vibrato action and superior tuning stability compared to the older six-screw vintage designs. The Modern C-shaped maple neck comes with a comfortable 9.5" fingerboard radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. This is a quite an easy guitar to play.
This 2020 model is equipped with a trio of Player Series Alnico 5 Single-Coil pickups, which deliver a crisper, more articulate "quack" and "chime" than the ceramic magnets used in previous years. Additionally, the bridge pickup is wired to the second tone control, a modern tweak that allows you to tame the treble on your lead settings without affecting your neck or middle positions.
This particular Strat includes a super cool pickguard upgrade with a blue pickguard. We're digging how it looks - to us, it's a lot more interesting than the stock white pickguard.
