Used 2011 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka 60's Rosewood Tele With OHSC

Used And Vintage

There aren't many guitars as iconic as a Rosewood Tele, and there aren't any built better than one by a Masterbuilder, especially the veteran Dennis Galuszka.  This one was built in 2011 for Truetone Music, and is now available here again.

Fender built several instruments in the late 60s made completely of hand-selected rosewood - these were in production only very briefly and are now highly collectable on the vintage market. Jimi Hendrix reportedly had one of the first Rosewood Stratocaster guitars; George Harrison of the Beatles used one of the original Rosewood Telecaster guitars on Let It Be and for the famous Apple Records rooftop concert in January 1969.  That's where the legend starts - and it continues today with the esteemed Masterbuilders at the Fender Custom Shop.

And here's an opportunity to own one that was played by none other than George's son, Dhani Harrison.  He was the first to play this guitar when it arrived at Truetone Music, and nice enough to have pictures taken for the customer that this was built for.  The photos come with the guitar, along with the original case, certificate and everything else seen in this listing.

Truetone has done a lot with Dennis over the years - he's our one of our "go to" builders for Rosewood Tele's.  We came up with the idea to do a Gloss finish version (typically it's a Satin finish).  The result was gorgeous - so much so that after this one sold, we kept ordering Gloss versions.

It features a chambered body (to reduce weight), a super comfortable 60's C neck shape, and vintage voiced Custom Shop Handwound 1963 Tele.  Full specs are below.  Not only does it look beautiful, but feels great and sounds amazing.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly.  We noticed that the is some lacquer bubbling around the frets, but it cannot be felt (just barely seen).  Check out the photos for more.

If you're looking for a Masterbuilt Rosewood Tele in great condition, with historical pedigree, at a great price, here you go!  Come to Truetone Music to check it out, or order right here right now before it's gone.

About the builder:

Dennis Galuszka began building high-end acoustic guitars during his 13 years as a cabinetmaker, combining his passions for music and woodworking. As a self-taught drummer, it was a fateful audition with one of the Fender master builders that led to a job interview (and a steady gig). Hired as an apprentice, he was promoted to master builder in 1999. Galuszka has since built instruments for many influential players, including country legend Buck Owens and jazz master Robben Ford.
