Used 2010 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Iced Tea Burst with OHSC
In the mood for a classic Les Paul with a little bit of cosmetic twist? Try this previously owned Gibson Les Paul Traditional in Iced Tea Burst, outfitted with black knobs, control plate chip and switch tip. It's a small modification that actually makes a big difference in giving this guitar it's own unique look.
Built in 2010 in Nashville, this Les Paul Traditional comes from a great era of Gibson production. It features a weight-relieved mahogany body, AA-grade maple top, a bound rosewood fretboard, and '57 Classic/'57 Classic Plus Humbuckers. Warm, thick tone full of sustain is the hallmark of any Les Paul, and this one nails that. If you like late 50's style round neck profiles and a classic vintage feel, this guitar will be at home in your hands. The finish on this one is especially eye catching - the Iced Tea Burst on the flame maple top looks stunning. The mahogany body is very resonant, even unplugged.
The pickups in this Les Paul provide an unbelievably killer tone, whether you need it clean, or for dirty overdriven sounds. Either way you go, this guitar sings. For rock and metal tones, through a cranked amp, it's hard to beat. But when you need it to be gentle, this guitar cleans up nicely. It's actually suprisingly versatile.
When we took this one in, we found that it had a slight headstock crack, with we addressed right away and repaired it. It wasn't fully snapped but was cracked, and the repair job was expertly done by our main luthier here. It cannot be felt, only seen. It doesn't impact the structural integrity and doesn't affect playability. It's barely noticeable but we believe in full disclosure here, so we wanted to detail that.
The guitar is excellent overall condition. Other than the aforementioned black parts that we added, everything on the guitar is original, and the original hardshell case is included.
The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and is ready to go. For anyone that wants a great Les Paul on a great deal, here it is!
