This is a premium instrument built during the model's formative years and is a clear example of the excellent craftsmanship by PRS. This one is a spectacular 10 Top version in Blue Matteo, which is quite stunning.
The double figured maple top and back combined with mahogany sides create a resonant body capable of producing both warm, woody acoustic tones and articulate electric tones as well. PRS really scored with the wood grain for this guitar - both on the front and the back, the guitar lives up to its 10 Top designation. The slim mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets offers responsive playability with minimal fret wear. Of course the fingerboard comes with its iconic bird inlays. The feel of its gloss neck is extremely comfortable in the hands. The striking Blue Matteo finish really showcases the excellent grain of its top.
Dual PRS humbuckers give you a wide of range of thick humbucking tones to choose from It is paired with the factory LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System which provides unmatched tonal flexibility, allowing seamless blending of electric and acoustic tones through independent output jacks.
