Used 2009 Fender Road Worn 50's Precision Bass 2-Tone Sunburst

If you’re looking for a bass that feels like it’s been laying down the low end in smoky clubs since the Eisenhower administration, this is it! We have for you this Fender Road Worn '50s Precision Bass is a legendary instrument for a reason: it captures the "broken-in" magic of a vintage original without the five-figure price tag.
This is one of the original Road Worn runs, from 2009. Actually, this was a prototype, bought by an employee who happeneded Truetone's Fender Inside Sales Rep at the time. He was mainly a Jazz bass player but wanted a Precision for recording. 9 years later, he became the owner of Truetone! 8 years later he started putting up his collection for sale - this is one of the basses.
The heart of this beast is the Alder body paired with a thick, "C"-shaped Maple neck. This isn't just a bass; it’s a percussive tool. The Road Worn treatment isn't just for looks—by removing the "sticky" feel of a fresh gloss finish, the back of the neck feels incredibly fast and smooth, allowing your hand to glide effortlessly across the fretboard.
Finished in a classic 2-Color Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer, this P-Bass has been aged to perfection, offering that unmistakable worn-in feel that usually takes decades to achieve. It's a great look and feel - and of course you get the classic tone, known as the sound heard across the world.
Equipped with a Vintage-Style Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup, this instrument delivers the punchy, mid-forward growl that defined rock, soul, and Motown. You get classic vintage tuners and bridge for even more authenticity.
This bass is in excellent condition and ready for you!
