Used 1990 Fender ST-54 Made in Japan 1954 Reissue Stratocaster 2-Tone Sunburst with Gig Bag
This guitar was made during one of the most important musical eras, the early 1990s. No this isn't a VH1 I Love The '90s special, this is a Japanese-made Fender 1954 Reissue Stratocaster in the classic 2-Tone Sunburst finish. That girl is Poison but this guitar is an amazing instrument. If Wishes Came True, this guitar would be in your hands Tonight.
Fender currently only does a reissue of the 1954 Strat every 10 years, on the anniversary. But back in the day (yes, 1990 was 34 years ago....just think, 34 years before that was 1956), it could be in a non-anniversary year. Fender Japan put out this run of a vintage-styled 1954 Strat. It has a lightweight and resonant alder body, maple neck with a "V" profile, and the classic 2-Tone Sunburst and white pickguard look. It's all period correct - 7.25" radius, vintage frets, and US vintage single coil pickups with staggered pole pieces, as well as a 3-way switch.
These are hard to find, and players have revered the Crafted in Japan instruments for a long time. We've had a lot, but not an ST-54 like this one. It's in very good condition (see photos for the slight wear and small dings), setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and ready to go! A gig bag is included.
Some might say it's Hammer Time. Some might say this guitar's got so much tonal awesomeness you'll find yourself doing the Humpty Dance. We just say that it's an incredible guitar,
