Taylor Custom Grand Auditorium C14ce Torrefied Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood - Catch Event # 6 - with Case

At this year's NAMM show in Anaheim, Taylor put on an unforgettable dealer event showing a set of extremely limited and special guitars, known as the Catch Event.  There, in a room at the rooftop, dozens of one-of-a-kind Taylor guitars were displayed.  We had the opportunity to participate and were fortunate to score some very special guitars - this is one of them.

Truetone is proud to present this Taylor Custom Grand Auditorium.  An amazing example of what the expert luthiers at Taylor can do, this acoustic-electric is crafted with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, AA-grade East Indian rosewood back and sides, and V-Class interior bracing.  A compound carve neck profile makes it super comfortable to play.  The guitar is very expressive, and reacts perfectly to the player's touch.  Whether you're strumming hard, or softly finger-picking, this Grand Auditorium will suit the style well.

Exclusive appointments include a custom designed Roman Leaf rosette with a bound soundhole, figured Hawaiian koa body binding with chamfered edges, and West African Crelicam ebony fretboard binding.  It doesn't stop there - the guitar also  features Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold with black buttons, a full-body gloss finish, legacy 800 Series fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, and ES2 electronics with a built-in TaylorSense unit.  Another nice touch that we have to point is what Taylor did for the bridge pins - they are Stained Bone, which match the guitar perfectly.
