Its distilled visual character reflects its utility and accessibility in terms of both price and comfort, with a slender neck that makes fretting notes and chords easier along with a shorter scale length of 24-7/8" that provides a more relaxed feel. An armrest carved into the upper side of the lower bout provides a smooth surface for the picking or strumming arm, making long practice sessions or performances more comfortable whether you play seated or standing. The Academy 10 includes a soft gig bag for transport.
