Stonebridge by Furch Model G23CR-C Natural Cutaway Acoustic Guitar With OHSC

Stonebridge Guitars, a part of of Furch, has been putting out some of the finest and most affordable acoustics out there for a number of years.  World class builders craft a wide range of instruments with unique features at varying price points, inspiring players around the world.  Premium woods and a serious attention to detail are what make a Stonebridge stand out, and this one here is a great example.

This G23CR-C is one of nicer guitars to play that we've had in here in quite some time.  The combination of of the Indian Rosewood back & sides and the Western Cedar top provides a very balanced tone - bright enough to cut through the mix, but warm enough for the smoothest of strumming.  The cedar top is a unique feature, and we love how it sounds on a guitar like this.  The Honduran Mahogany is very comfortable, with a smooth satin finish, with an Ebony fretboard, allows for fast playing.  The body has a hi-gloss lacquer finish that really looks spectacular.  

Speaking of looks, the abalone logo, neck inlays and rosette really stand out, along with the tortoise binding.  We thought that was an especially nice touch.  The guitar is supported by a two-way adjustable truss rod (a proprietary Stonebridge design), and topped off with Schaller tuners to keep it in tune at all times.

The G23CR-C is an excellent guitar at a great value.  Boutique design and hand-crafted in Europe, it's beyond impressive.  This one is in excellent condition and all original (included is a super high quality Hiscox hardshell case).  The guitar has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  It's a winner, and we think it will go fast.
