Pre-Owned 2023 PRS Core Custom 24 Charcoal Cherry With OHSC
We've had some stunning PRS guitars here, but when this one rolled in recently, it stopped us in our tracks. The top is magnificent and Charoal Cherry finish is something that is hard to stop looking at. Any Custom 24 is going to be great but this one really stands out.
Of course, it's not just about asesthetics - the minute we picked it up, the easy playability indicated this was going to be a favorite right off the bat. While some players want a guitar that fights back a bit, other players want something that's smooth and easy to command. This is for the later.
The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end.
The high gloss nitro finish really accents the wood grain of the flame maple top - it's the look that made PRS famous. What also put the Custom 24 on the map is the 24 fret, 25" scale neck with a Pattern Thin profile. It's easy to play, and with a 10" radius you were fret out, so bend to your heart's content.
