Pre Owned Groove Tubes Dual 75 Guitar & Trio Guitar Amp Head With Dual 1x12 Cabinets
Most famously used by Phish’s Trey Anastasio in the mid-1990’s, the Groove Tubes Dual 75 amplifier used on records and tours are considered by many aficionados of Trey’s tone to have produced some of the guitarist's most unique and celebrated tones. We were thrilled to take in this complete rig, consisting of the Dual 75 and Trio units in a tweed rack, with matching dual 1x12 tweed cabinets.
Groove Tubes described the Dual 75 as “the only selectable dual power tube amp on the planet” when it was released, and boasted that it “allows the player to customize their sound on either channel by selecting the type of power tube” used. The amp can run 6L6 tubes for the classic American sound (Fender, Boogie), EL34 tubes for the British rock sound (Marshall, Vox, Hiwatt), 6550 tubes for high headroom metal sound, or KT88 tubes, the British version of the 6550.
The amp runs between 45 watts at the low end (6L6C) and 75 watts at the high end (6550 or KT88). Each channel has volume and presence controls, but no EQ, which is why the Groove Tubes created the Trio to be used in conjunction with the Dual 75.
Everything has been vetted and tested to working order. The condition can be seen in the photos - this is a used rig and has signs of having been to a few parties. Here's what's included, which is only being sold as a full rig:

- Two 8ohm Tweed 1x12 Cabs (Celestion G12T-75 & G12 Modern Lead 70)
- 2 heavy duty ¼” spkr cables, IEC Pwr cable, Manual and Trio 3-button FS with 5-pin cable
