Power up your playing with power of a Gretsch Electromatic Jet! This Gretsch 5230T Electromatic Jet is the perfect guitar to experience a Gretsch solid-body that packs a punch!
The Gretsch 5230T Jet has a chambered mahogany body with maple top for a great blend of tonewoods give you excellent tone, sustain, and rock solid construction. This combination gives you plenty of lows and mids while also balancing with high end frequencies. The set mahogany neck has thin "U" shape with a 12" radius which is comfortable and provides unlimited access to laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
This particular Gretsch features a premium player upgrades, specifically with a pair of TV Jones TV-HT pickups which are TV Jones' version of the iconic Gretsch HiLoTrons. These pickups deliver twangy single-coil goodness with a touch of midrange. The TV-HT is designed to produce twangy bass and crisp highs perfect for classic Gretsch tones. The original Black Top Filter'Tron pickups are included as well.
The Electromatic Jet FT gives you complete tonal control with individual pickup volume controls, master tone and master volume with treble bleed circuit that provides control global control over your pickup and tone settings. This Jet comes with a Bigsby® B50 vibrato tailpiece for expressive bending and an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge for tuning stability, sustain, and tone. We can't forget about its premium appointments which include a bound headstock, plain-face head cap, vintage-inspired purfling, Neo-Classic™ thumbnail inlays and closed back tuning keys
