Pre Owned 2005 Gibson Les Paul Supreme Heritage Cherry Sunburst With OHSC
The Gibson Les Paul Supreme is the cream of the crop - any Les Paul is iconic, but the Supreme rises to the top. We just took this one in, and immediately got envious of whomever is going to score this guitar. Built in 2005, it's in primo shape and still stunning.
Featuring a gorgeous AAAA flame maple top and back, this is a guitar that will make you do a double-take. It's that beautiful. We'll pause now to allow a close examination of the photos.
The body still has a mahogany core, which has been chambered for reduced weight and to enhance resonance. The super comfortable neck is crafted from top grade mahogany, topped with distinctive split-block mother-of-pearl inlays in the tradition of the LeGrand and Super 400 archtops.
It has a the 490R, an Alnico II magnet pickup for plenty of smooth vocal tones in the neck position, and the 498T, an Alnico V pickup that is slightly hotter with emphasis on mid-ranges and highs.
The guitar also features a beautiful "Supreme" banner and a 5-ply binding, Grover "keyston-button" tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and a stop-bar tailpiece, all of which are plated in gold.
This is a truly beautiful guitar with wonderful tone and easy playability. It's been setup to play perfect by the techs in our shop, and comes with the original case. It's in excellent condition too - the previous owner obviously took great care of it. For those that want the finer things, a Les Paul Supreme is hard to beat, especially this one.
