Pre Owned Gibson Custom Shop SG Oxblood With OHSC

If you're looking a Gibson Custom Shop SG with a unique Oxblood finish, then here's your guitar!  This guitar was part of a limited edition run done in 2018.  Rarely seen in the wild, this is one of the cooler SG's we've had here.

This Gibson Custom Shop SG is an exemplary one with all the features you want from an SG. There is the slim double-cut Honduran mahogany body with the historic beveling in the iconic shape that has become legendary over time. This mahogany neck has a comfortable 1960 Slim Taper C profile (.830" / .945") with stunning abalone inlays on the richlite fretboard. The bound headstock has a vintage cream binding and the iconic diamond abalone inlay and Gibson logo inlay.  

The heart and soul of its sound are its dual pickups. You get a pair of Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico III magnets that give you that iconic Gibson tone, with punch and power for clean or distorted tones. This one has vintage VOS covers with a vintage aesthetic. 

This SG guitar features rock solid nickel hardware. There is the stopbar tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge both with a VOS aged finish. The tuners are Grover Rotomatics which provide great accuracy for tuning. You get the classic black control knobs and vintage cream switch tip.

This incredible instrument is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfect, and it's ready to go.  And we think it will go quickly!
