This is the iconic bass that made Ernie Ball Music Man a household name amongst musicians. It has an sleek contoured ash body with a gloss finish. Enjoy the comfortable maple neck with 21 frets and a sleek gun oil finish. With its Schaller BM tuning machines with tapered posts. You get improved sustain with a 6 bolt neck joint. For the electronics you get a single humbucker with alnico magnets, 3-band active preamp and a 5 way switch. This is THE sound that bass players crave.
This one in particular was built right here in California in 2006. It's in good shape, with evidence of it getting some loving use, but no major dings, dents or other issues. The back of the neck is worn in (in a good way), and has some faded marking at the bottom near the heel (see photos). It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
The original hardshell case is included. For anyone looking for a great Music Man Stingray to take to the gig, this is a winner!
