Are you ready for an Epiphone SG that not only honors the history of the first Gibson SG but it was made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop! We have this Inspired by Gibson, Epiphone 1961 Les Paul SG Standard in the Aged Classic White finish! This guitar model is Epiphone’s exceptional recreation of the iconic SG.
In 1961, the original shape of the Les Paul model was replaced by an all-new design that is known today as the SG or “solid guitar.” This guitar features a two-piece solid mahogany, double-cutaway body with Custom Shop Historic bevels, it also has the one-piece mahogany, fast-playing SlimTaper™ C-shaped neck profile.
This guitar has its historically inspired long pickguard and comes equipped with a pair of Gibson™ BurstBucker humbucking pickups wired to CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, a Graph Tech nut, and Switchcraft output jack and toggle switch. Stay in tune with its Epiphone Deluxe tuners which feature a historically inspired double ring design.
This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with its original vintage-style hardshell case. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop and is ready to roll out!
