For those looking for the warm tones of a nylon acoustic with the flexibility of electronics here's this fantastic Taylor 212ce-N in its Natural finish! This guitar comes to us from 2024 and shows Taylor's acoustic versatility while still maintaining their distinct construction style.
The Taylor 212ce-N comes with a compact and comfortable Grand Concert body with a Venetian cutaway. It features a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top that’s been roasted to perfection for the open feel with plenty of vintage warmth right. The layered Indian rosewood back and sides provide a rich, articulate tones. The full gloss body and matte-finish neck look and feel fast with no-stick, perfect for long sessions. The neck is a Neo-Tropical mahogany with a 12-fret join, a design choice that shifts the bridge further back on the lower bout to pull a warmer, more powerful resonance out of the top. With a 1-7/8" nut width, it’s slightly wider than your standard steel-string but narrower than a bulky traditional classical guitar, making it a great crossover instrument for players who want that nylon-string mellow but prefer a modern neck profile. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add a touch of snap and high-end clarity to the naturally soft attack of the nylon strings.
