The Gibson SG Modern comes with iconic double-cut body with a AA figured maple top. The body is resonant with warm tones and a nitro gloss finish. This guitar features a bounded modern asymmetrical slim taper neck that is quite comfortable. The ebony fingerboard has a compound radius from 10"-16" with 24 medium-jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays.
With its pair of Burstbucker Pro Alnico V humbuckers, you have the best of rich, full tones. The neck pickup gives you the darker tones that are great for more rhythm and chordal playing while the bridge pickup gives you that perfect attack for leads and melodies that cuts through mix. This Gibson Modern SG comes with individual volume and tone controls with the addition of push-pull coil-tapping to switch between humbucker and P90-style single-coil tones.
A chrome-finished Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminum stopbar maintains tuning stability and great intonation. A set of Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners keep solidly in tune. All in all there is so much to love about this Gibson Modern SG. So if you're a fan of the SG and would like some more modern features this is definitely one to get.
It's in excellent condition (it appears that the previous owner never played it) and comes with its original hardshell case. Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, this SG is ready to go!
