Welcome to an ocean of tones with this PRS Custom 24 in Faded Blue Whale. Built in 2020, the guitar is in excellent shape and has the original case. This is a flame top beauty with robust tones, simple controls, and an expressive trem, setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
Dive into the Faded Blue Whale top with crispy highs and warmer mahogany slab body. This tone wood combination gives you plenty of dynamic tone. The controls are very straightforward with a Master Volume and Master Tone with a 5-way tone selector. The mahogany neck has a Pattern Thin neck profile with famous bird inlays and 24 medium-jumbo frets. There is a vibrant high-gloss finish that really lets the depths of the flame top really stand out.
You get a set of 85/15 humbucking pickups in the neck and the bridge position to give you an wide array of tones to discover. The 5-way Blade Pickup Switch and the simple Volume and Tone controls lets you traverse your tonal options with ease.
This guitar is blessed with high-quality hardware with its bridge PRS Patented Tremolo Gen III and PRS Phase III Locking Tuners with Wing Buttons. All in all this is an all-around instrument of excellent craftsmanship and tone.
The grain on this one is especially nice, approaching 10 Top territory, but without out the upcharge. As a previously owned (but well-cared for) piece, it's a great value. We think this one will go quickly.
