Pre-Owned 2017 Gibson Les Paul Tribute T 60's Faded Honey Burst With Gig Bag
Calling back to the original design appointments that made this axe legendary while adding some desirable modern updates, the Gibson Les Paul Tribute T is a fitting heir to the original majesty of the Les Paul.
We just took this one in, which was here at Truetone previously and is now making it's return, but better than before! That's due to the upgraded set of pickups. The previous owner has us put in Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers (nickel set - 11014-01 neck / 11014-05 bridge). More on that in a moment.
A weight-relieved mahogany body comes sporting a two-piece maple top in a sweet Faded Honey Burst finish, mahogany neck, and a thicker rosewood fretboard. The Slim Taper neck profile is super comfortable to play, and at 8.4 lbs, it's a Les Paul that you'll be okay with keeping strapped on all night.
About the pickups, according to Seymour Duncan:
The Antiquity neck humbucker offers an eloquent yet gentle tone due to its well-balanced frequency response, blending a delicate, sweet treble attack with a full, warm low-end sound. Its custom aged alnico 2 bar magnet adds an airy brightness to the high-end, enhancing the clarity and definition of chords, while the vintage output coils reveal the instrument's rich harmonic complexity. Single notes have a delightful singing quality with just the right touch of treble emphasis.
The Antiquity bridge humbucker produces the classic tone reminiscent of the beloved "P.A.F." humbuckers created by Seth Lover in 1955. The higher notes have a crisp edge without being overly harsh, while the lower tones exude a deep, warm growl. The bridge model is slightly hotter to ensure a balanced sound and enhanced warmth.
This guitar has enough creamy, pristine tone made to fill any arena. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The guitar is in good condition with just the right amount of player wear, and does have a "Traditional" truss rod cover on the headstock. A gig bag is included.
