We just took in one of the best previously owned Custom Shop Strats we've had here - and it's in a color rarely seen.  It's a '57 Strat Relic in HLE Gold, and it's a true winner.


The Fender Custom Shop 1957 Relic Stratocaster takes you straight back to the pivotal year when the instrument was largely perfected into the form known worldwide today. Its deep-contoured alder body comes in an HLE Gold lacquer Relic finish.  Sparkling tone comes from three hand-wound ’50s Stratocaster single-coil pickups (reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickup) with modern five-way switching.  It has a rock solid quartersawn maple neck with a period correct ’57 “soft V” profile.  It's vintage all the way, but has the popular modern tweak of a 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard with 6105 frets.  


The guitar has a single-ply parchment pickguard, vintage white control knobs, American Vintage bridge, and American Vintage tuning machines. It gives you all of the vintage vibe you could ever want, with modern playability and a downright awesome color.  You don't see HLE Gold very often, and it's stunning.

Includes the original tweed case (gold interior), Certificate of Authenticity and all of the other accessories and paperwork.  The guitar has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our repair shop.  The same guitar as a brand new item would be nearing $5K, so this one at this price is a total score.  Get it before it's gone!
