This 2014 Tom Anderson "The Mongrel" HSS is an instrument that brings the best of guitar designs together in one. From its body design, pickup selection, and components, all add up to an incredibly versatile instrument. So if you love T-style guitars that offers more than the standard configuration you will love this guitar.
This Tom Anderson comes with a resonant Swamp Ash body done in a delicious Butterscotch finish. Its bolt-on maple neck comes with a sporty neck profile, ready for fast playing, and Chocolate finish. The rosewood fingerboard comes with 22 of Anderson's signature stainless steel jumbo frets with a 24 3/4 scale. It also comes with an S-style tortoise-style pickguard!
With its HSS pickup configuration, this Tom Anderson gives you a wealth of guitar tones. It comes with two single-coils in the middle and the neck. The single-coils (SC1,SC2), give you that classic bell-like tones, quack, and chime. With the HC2 bridge humbucker you open the instrument to thick, biting tones that push harder especially for more overdriven tones. There is even a switch to split the humbucker for single-coil tones in the bridge as well. Easily find your sounds with Master Volume, Master Tone, and a pickup selector.
A set of locking tuners keep you in tune and you also get an expressive dual fulcrum tremolo bridge. This Tom Anderson also includes the Buzz Feiten system to maintain perfect intonation.
The techs in our shop have setup the guitar to play perfectly. This guitar is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case. It's ready for you.
