Pre-Owned 2013 Fender MIJ '66 Reissue Jaguar Candy Apple Red With Case
Fans of Fender, Fans of Jaguars, Fans of Made in Japan Guitars....all can rejoice at this great find we just took in. Made in 2013, this '66 Reissue Jaguar is a stellar guitar. It was part of a run that was only available overseas, so you don't see many of them here in the U.S. Since then it's become rather sought after. We were thrilled when this one walked in.
You get the classic Jaguar short-scale feel and versatility, in an iconic Candy Apple Red finish, with vintage specs, custom appointments and nice touches like a matching headstock. You get an alder body, maple neck with rosewood fretboard (vintage radius) the traditional Jaguar electronics/controls and of course a floating tremolo. This one has been upgraded with a Mustang bridge (original is included in the case). Everything else is original.
The original Fender Japan single-coil pickups bring classic tones that work perfectly for a variety of styles, from surf to jazz. Whether clean or overdriven, it sounds great. Yeah, you won't be playing thrash metal on this thing but there are plenty of other guitars out there if that's what you need! This gives you something else entirely: a vintage vibe with high-quality Japanese craftsmanship. And a cool vibe of course.
As an added bonus, this one comes with a Fender Deluxe Molded case. That adds to the value. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly - in fact, the tech that did it stated it was one of the best Jaguars he's worked on, and we've had some killer ones here.
The guitar is excellent condition - the previous owner took great care of it. For anyone looking for a great deal on a super cool Made in Japan Jaguar, this is a serious score.
