For 50 years the Gibson ES-335 has been a favorite of guitarists, with surprising versatility and solid, full-throaty, hum-free and feedback-free performance. Like all of its predecessors, this reissue offers a detailed response, buttery playing feel and, most of all, superlative sound. It ranges from fat, warm, and vocal on the neck pickup to stinging and cutting on the bridge pickup, with a broad range of brews in between. From the moment you plug it in, the '57 Classic humbuckers will remind you of the tones you've known and loved in more hits than you can count.
While all the ES-335s are great looking guitars, this one surpasses itself with a gorgeous Birdseye Maple top. Built in Memphis in 2011, it appears to have barely been played since then. It's in excellent condition and comes with the certificate of authenticity, pickguard, case candy and the original hardshell case. This is the complete package. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
