Pre-Owned 2011 Fender Made In Japan ‘72 Pawnshop Strat Thinline 3-Tone Sunburst With Gig Bag

Down from the pawnshop! Here's this awesome Made In Japan '72 Pawn Shop Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst. This is a cool "what-if" guitar, blending the classic Strat contour with the guts of a Telecaster Deluxe. This is the from the original run of the Pawn Series in 2011, when they were made in Japan, and highly sought after.
The alder body is finished in a timeless 3-Tone Sunburst, paired with a maple neck and a "U" shape profile that feels substantial and period-correct for the early 70s. With its large 70s-style headstock and "F" stamped tuners, it captures that era's vibe perfectly while offering a completely different tonal palette.
The electronics are where things get interesting, featuring a Fender Wide Range humbucker in the bridge and an Enforcer humbucker in the neck. This combination delivers a massive, wide-open sound that bridges the gap between single-coil chime and full-blown humbucker roar. The controls are streamlined into a master volume and master tone, along with a 3-way toggle, mounted on a distinct "half" pickguard that gives the guitar a lean, custom-shop look.
For hardware, it sports a hardtail Strat bridge with through-body stringing, which massively boosts sustain and tuning stability compared to a standard tremolo. Because it's Made in Japan, the craftsmanship is top-tier, with excellent fretwork and a tight neck pocket. It’s a unique hybrid that offers the comfort of a Strat with the punch and sustain of a vintage Telecaster Deluxe.
This guitar is in great condition and comes with a gig bag. The techs in our shop have set it up to player perfectly, and it's ready for its next home.
