Pre Owned 2005 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughn Stratocaster Sunburst Modified With OHSC
While the Fender Stevie Ray Vaughn Stratocaster is a well-known model that we've all seen (and instantly recognizable, of course), you haven't seen one like this exact one!
This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis. Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group. Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories. This particular instrument comes with the following:
The guitar has been upgraded with custom gold knobs and a bullet switch tip.
Everything else is stock. The case is included; inside it has the original tone knobs, as well as a cool guitar strap, guitar cable and tuner.
- Early-'60s oval neck profile
- Pau ferro fingerboard with 6105 frets
- Texas Special pickups
- Engraved SRV pickguard
- Gold-plated hardware
- Reverse vintage-style tremolo bridge
The guitar was built in 2005. It's in great shape and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. An SRV Strat is a great find in general and this is the only one out there that looks like this!
