This Fender Big Block P-Bass has the iconic contoured alder body with a sleek black finish. The maple neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard adorned with white pearloid block inlays and a matching black headstock. The neck shape is a familiar P-bass size with a modern "C" profile. The guitar is made to be played with the authority and brings elegance and power to any musical situation.
For the power its tone you'll love this double Jazz Bass humbucking pickup that provides thick articulate tones. This particular one has been modded to remove the active electronics and replace it with passive electronics, the pickup coil-split swich is now a killswitch and maintains its humbucker setting. The original stacked bass/treble control knob is a now a regular knob so you have a master volume and master tone. You get an impressive chrome bridge, big button chrome tuners, with black control knobs.
This Big Block P Bass is a unique twist on a classic giving you an excellent bass for any playing situation. It's in great condition, has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and comes with a gig bag. Time to go big!
