Pre Owned '04 Taylor Limited Edition 355-CE-L7 12-string Cutaway Acoustic Electric W OHSC
We recently were lucky enough to take in a small collection of extremely nice, rare Taylor guitars from a collection curated by a player with excellent taste. A few of us were salivating over these, and tempted to buy them for ourselves. But, we're in the business of selling and getting guitars into the hands of others. So here's your opportunity....before one of us changes our mind!
We love 12-string guitars here, especially ones as nice as this Taylor 355-CE-L7 . It's a very nice 12-string in a jumbo style body, featuring a Sitka spruce top, and Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides. The guitar has a loud and punchy sound, fully capable of handling any 12-string situation, with enough projection to cut through, while still remaining balanced. It has a very comfortable mahogany neck with a rosewood headstock overlay, and ebony fretboard and bridge. This was a limited edition run from 2004, and are very hard to find, as not many were made. Interestingly, this run was the first time that Taylor used Tasmanian Blackwood. This beautiful wood shares characteristics with it's Hawaiian cousin, Koa, in that its variegated colors runs from a deep tawny to a light golden brown, accentuated by rich dark grain patterns. Also like Koa, Tasmanian Blackwood has a warm, mellow tone highlighted by complex overtones.
