 As a proud PRS dealer, we get some amazing pieces here.  But sometimes it's a previously owned guitar that comes in and really grabs our attention.  That's the case with this McCarty Hollowbody II 10 Top in Cherry Sunburst.  It's a seriously stunning instrument. 

The carved flame maple top and back (with mahogany sides) really looks stunning, especially when offset by the maple binding.  It has a 1.75" depth at the rim, 3" depth at the bridge (thickest point).  The guitar sports a 22 fret mahogany neck (wide-fat shape), a rosewood fretboard, PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, and McCarty archtop pickups with a 3-way toggle switch.  This helps make it a very versatile guitar, capable of covering many styles and genres.


Built in 2004, this one has a bit of player wear, a few dings on the body, and a repaired neck.  That was caused by a hit while in transit - the neck didn't fully snap but was cracked near the headstock, and the repair job was expertly done by our main luthier here.  It cannot be felt, only seen.  It doesn't impact the structural integrity and doesn't affect playability.  Check out the photos for everything - we took extra shots of the neck repair after it was done to show everything in full disclosure.   The guitar has been setup to play perfectly.  This is a really comfortable PRS, and of course, as is the case with everything from them, it sounds amazing.  The original tuners were recently replaced by official PRS tuners.

The original hardshell case is included.  But, please note that the case has slight issues, in that one latch was broken off and other is bent.  Of course, it still protects the guitar, but we wanted to dislose that.
 
Any PRS is a great instrument, and a 10 Top takes it to another level.  This is a special guitar, and we look forward to placing it in its new home!  For anyone that wants the quality craftsman ship, innovate design, comfortable feel and exquisite sound of an American-made PRS McCarty Hollowbody II, and is okay with everything detailed above to get a great price, this is a serious score.
