Look what we got for you! This awesome Gibson Firebird V in Sunburst, a truly killer axe. American-made, as cool looking as they come, and full of authentic Gibson tone, this Firebird V is a rare find, especially in this condition.
The Firebird is one of the most iconic electric guitars ever, with a large sleek mahogany body and neck through design directly influenced by the car its named after. With its two mini humbucker pickups you get a fat sound with even more top end sparkle and more tight bass response than standard humbuckers. The classic banjo tuners give you style not seen often on other guitars. Speaking of style, the cream pickguard with red Firebird logo looks stellar on the sunburst finish. Don't forget this instrument has a longer scale length than any other Gibson electrics giving it truly a unique feel and tone.
This instrument is in excellent condition - especially considering it just turned the legal drinking age. Judging by the appearance, the previous owner didn't use it that much, and when he did, he was very, very careful with it. Typically, when you see these, the corners and headstock are dinged up, but not in this case. This is a clean example of a Firebird. The guitar has been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. It's all original, with no cracks or majors repairs. The original hardshell case is included, which is always in great shape. Altogether, it's t's a serious score!
