Its 1997, Radiohead drops OK Computer with some of the most iconic Tele tones ever and this very Fender Telecaster was made that year. A lot else happened that year, but in our minds, that albums tops it all.
This black Telecaster is everything you know and love about Teles. You get the classic slab alder body, 21 fret maple neck, dual single-coil pickups and classic control panel. There are countless Tele players and it is one of Fender's original designs. The single-coil pickups give you plenty of twang, snap, and cut in the bridge position while the neck pickup brings you more rhythm-friendly tones. Super simple Volume and Tone control with a 3-way pickup selector makes it incredibly easy to find your desired sounds.
This guitar has been upgraded with a set of Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele Pickups, as well as 4-way wiring to let you run both pickups in parallel in the 4th position. Other upgrades include a bone nut and parchment guard.
This guitar is in very good condition, has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. It's ready to play!
