Pre Owned 1995 Hamer Limited Edition Standard Korina with OHSC
Truetone Music has been selected to take in a special collection of instruments from a very special long-time customer and friend of ours. A collector of only unique, rare, vintage and high-end guitars & amps, he amassed a serious collection of these years. For the first time, these pieces are available on the market for the first time.
We are proud to present this amazing Hamer Standard in Korina. It's definitely one that made our eyes open a bit wider when we opened the case. It's a rare beast, one that we've never had before, and likely will not see again. Built in 1995, this American made "Explorer-style" guitar was part of a small run, which have been high in demand ever since. Only 100 were made (some say 96), and this is # 23, as designated on the headstock. It was the first series of Korina guitars done by Hamer. They're hard to find, especially in this condition - this one is impeccably clean. Typically, you'll see these with a decent amount of wear, even damage - especially on the pointed edges. However, this one is super clean.
The vibe of this guitar screams rock 'n' roll, and the tone sounds like it too. Full, throaty and punchy, it's made to be turned up loud and overdriven. The guitar is loaded with Seymour Duncan humbuckers - a JB in the bridge position, and a '59 in the neck position. Full specs are below. It's also super comfortable to play, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.
The guitar comes with the original hardshell case, and everything on it is original. It's in serious great shape - it appears that the previous owners didn't play it much at all. It's a serious score and perfect for anyone that knows how special an American-made Hamer like this is, or simply a collector that wants something extra special added to their collection.
