We've had a few in over the years, and this is one of the best. The L25C is an auditorium-size acoustic that was expertly crafted with premium tonewoods and projects rich vibrant acoustic tones. It's beyond impressive.
This Lowden L25C features a comfortable auditorium-size body with all-solid rosewood back and sides with a cedar top. The tones are vibrant with plenty of warmth in the lower frequencies all with incredible projection and dynamics. This is thanks in part to Lowden's expertise with its bracings. The guitar projects nicely, balanced across the tonal spectrum.
The top and body are exquisitely bound for look and tone. The 3-piece mahogany neck features a comfy neck profile and high gloss with an ebony fingerboard. It's easy to play for hours. The body comes with a deep cutaway to give you plenty of access to the fingerboard. The rosewood bridge features no bridge pins for a unique look and provides warmth and sustain. The gold Schaller tuners come with ivoroid buttons and maintain tuning with ease. It also has a clear pickguard to keep the look of its top but stay protected. The simple rosette gives you a more traditional aesthetic.
So if you're looking a boutique acoustic guitar built by hand by the great George Lowden then this is it! This guitar is in good condition, with some honest player wear (see photos), but not bad at all considering its age. It comes with its original hardshell case. The techs in our shop have vetted and set it up to play perfectly. This wonderful acoustic is ready for its next home.
