We love the 80's, especially its guitars and here's this incredible Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony from 1986! That's right, this is the same model you such greats as Slash, Kirk Hammett , Randy Rhoads and more. This guitar is one of the most iconic versions of the legendary Les Paul and represents a pinnacle of vintage craftsmanship with exceptional features to make it truly a Custom!
Built with a solid mahogany body topped with carved maple, this Les Paul delivers the warm, resonant tone players and collectors prize. The set mahogany neck comes has a slimmer profile with an ebony fretboard with custom block inlays and of course those narrow tall frets that LP's are known for. The top, body, and neck are expertly bound with a triple binding that has aged perfectly.
You're stacked with great tones with a pair of Gibson humbuckers. These pickups pump out thick, rich tones that are great for clean and really shine with gain. You get a wealth of tones with these pickups as they are punchy and articulate. It's really easy to find your sounds with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup and its 3-way selector.
The Gibson Les Paul Custom is known for its striking look, that is owed in a large part to its gold hardware. You get gold tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and gold Grover tuners. This hardware maintains tuning, intonation, and sustain. All together, the result is an amazing guitar.
Setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, it's ready to go. This Gibson Les Paul Custom is in good condition especially considering its age, and comes with its original hardshell case. This is a great find for sure.
