Time for an elite bass, this vintage Fender Elite Precision Bass from 1983! What happened in the world of technology that year? The first mobile phones were introduced, compact disc players were developed, and Microsoft Word was first released. And Fender put out this amazing bass.
This bass has everything you want from a Fender P-bass and more - and by more, we mean more pickups (and more). Yes, this has two sets of pickups, something rarely seen but often sought after. This Elite P-Bass has its distinct alder contoured body with a vibrant sunburst finish. The maple neck has comfortable neck shape and provides a snappy attack, with rock solid stability and durability.
Enjoy its Elite features with an active pickup system with two active stacked pickups for an incredible range of tones. There is a Volume control, and pickup selector, a Tone control, and a unique Tone Assign switch. This unique feature lets you assign the tone control to either pickup or both expanding your tonal possibilities. This was an all new design back in the 80's and players fell in love with the versatility that it provides.
The unique features continue. You get ample sustain and tuning stability with its adjustable bridge with fine tuners. The extra mass improves the tone as well. Don't forget to check out the super cool knobs!
