Finish is a question mark due to the color, so unusual. Our head luthier here thinks that it is not a refinish; we checked with Rickenbacker and they said it's hard to tell on this one and that they don't really know. It's a very unusual finish, both in color, and the fact that there is a lot of checking. If it's a refin, it was done a very long time ago, and extremely well done.
Setup is perfect, with low action, and one of the best-playing 12-string Rickenbacker's we've ever had in here (and we've had a lot).
It is all original, except for the bridge that is currently on it, and the original bridge is included in the original case, which is also included.
